Yes! And it doesn't have to be long! I've stripped mine down to it's simplest expression so that there's no friction in doing it. But I reap the benefits!
If you are already familiar with GTD, I highly suggest Making it all work, also by David Allen, it's a book on how to fine tune the system! Worth checking out!

It’s shocking that I’ve never read GTD although I consider myself a GTD gal. Another productivity book to add to my list! 🙂
I have to admit that if I had not read GTD in 2014,I would never have become a productivity geek and blogger for the past 10 years!
