More tools for your Second Brain
A roundup of popular videos to help you manage your Second Brain
OMG!!!
I caved and spent 900$CAD on a tablet, that has no apps!!!
I’ve been bombarded in the last few months with ads about the Remarkable 2, an e-ink tablet with no bells and whistles. You can do almost nothing on this thing, and yet, it absolutely transformed my productivity!
The Remarkable is basically just a tablet with a paper-feel surface and you just write on it with a stylus. No apps, no connectivity, no distractions, no notifications, it’s the same feeling as writing in a paper notebook. And that’s what I love about it!
I use about 12 notebooks simultaneously, and I can see how grouping my notes in this device, with the PARA framework, will allow me to find any one of my notes super easily. The tagging feature is great and I like that I can move text around, copy it, enlarge it, and erase some of it. It’s just like paper, but wayyyy better!
If you’d like to learn more about how I use the Remarkable 2 as a Second brain, leave a comment and let me know!
After doing my reader’s survey, I had a good chuckle when one of the readers said they were sick of hearing me talk about Tiago Forte. What can I say, I’m obsessed!
Most of the content I consume since reading Building a Second Brain is related to that concept. I tend to hyperfixate, and, at the moment, BASB is the target of that hyperfixation.
Do not worry, I will fall down another rabbit hole soon enough! If you are not interested in BASB, you can skip the rest of this newsletter. I’ll be back on Wednesday with another topic ;)

Tiago's interview on the Selling with Love podcast: close to an hour of Tiago goodness. He goes even deeper than the new book about how detailed and granular projects have to be :
Greg Wheeler strikes again! He mentions narration as the One Habit to master your Second brain, quite an interesting take by this up-and-coming YouTuber :
The PARA method in Notion by Marie Poulin : Notion incontested queen Marie Poulin guides us through her PARA structure inside of Notion. She is more granular and her method is far more complex than my simple 4-drawer filing structure, but it was interesting to see how a Notion power-user interpreted Tiago’s framework. For advanced users, I’d say.
What has piqued your interest this week? What is the subject of your hyperfixation these days? Let me know in the comments below!
Hey hey, thanks for this post! Would love to get an overview of your BASB workflow and how you set up your remarkable, and what you do on it. eg, do you use it to just capture, or also store your notes, or do you then transfer? do you read on it? would be wonderful to know more. Thanks!
I am interested, did you already share more about your process ?
