Your morning routine just got a lot better!
A review of the new expanded and updated edition of the Miracle Morning
In a recent newsletter, I shared with you the one book that will make 2024 your best year ever. That book has finally come out, and lemme tell you, it’s even better than I anticipated!
Ever since July 2014, (nearly 10 years ago), I joined a global movement of personal development disguised as a morning routine; the Miracle Morning.
After losing more than half his income in the 2008 economic crisis, young Hal Elrod found himself in a deep depression. Not knowing how to turn his life around, he stumbled upon this quote by Jim Rohn and realized that he needed to take action :
Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development because success is something you attract by the person you become.
Hal googled the most efficient personal development practice to turn his life around.
His research found that the most successful people had at least one steady personal development activity set into their daily routine. And that six different practices were quoted by a great majority of them. Hal thought, they all do one or two, what if I did all six?
The six he chose were as follows :
Meditation
Affirmations
Visualization
Exercise
Reading
Journaling or writing
After only a few days of implementing his new routine, he turned his life around, got a new outlook on life, and eventually regained control over his finances and more than doubled his income down the line. He started calling it a miracle.
I read the original self-published version of The Miracle Morning in 2014. This year, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his book, author Hal Elrod released a new updated and expanded edition. And it did not disappoint!
With more than 70 pages of new content and a major revision of the original materials, I got much more from it than I expected. Even as a senior MM practitioner, I found that I had so much to learn!
If you have read and loved the original book, getting the new edition is 💯worth it. If you have not read the original book, grab a copy of the new version and it will greatly improve the quality of your life, one morning at a time.
