Time to introduce myself!
After nearly a year writing on Substack, it's time you know who's behind PH!
In just a few weeks, I will celebrate a year of writing on Substack!
I realized that my writer’s account is hidden behind the name Productive Happiness, and most of you probably have no idea who I am!
I think it’s time I properly introduce myself.
My name is Anick and I started the Productive Happiness journey in 2016 on a self-hosted Wordpress site.
I started a newsletter at about the same time, and I have been writing mostly about productivity, but also about a subject dear to my heart, personal development.
I read more than 100 books a year and always felt that this knowledge would be lost if I did not share it. And that’s how the blog came to be.
Nearly a decade later, I discovered the Substack platform by following
and his amazing newsletter and I felt like this space was perfect to continue my writing journey. In my everyday life, I am a French-speaking, married wife, executive assistant living in Montreal, Canada. I am also a devoted cat mommy to little Alfred and a metal concert promoter for nearly 20 years now.
I’m awfully curious and that’s why I read so much. To me, it’s as necessary as breathing. I also spend all my mornings doing Hal Elrod’s routine, and have done so for 10 years now.
I’m also dabbling with arts and crafts, exploring all kinds of mediums (collage, crochet, art journaling, scrapbooking, and many more). I collect old magazines to cut up images and phrases to use in my artworks, which I often use as vision boards.
I publish two posts a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, and am always excited to share the latest book I’ve read or the latest YouTube video I’ve watched. And I thank you immensely for reading me, and sharing your thoughts and questions with me!
Until Wednesday, I’d love to read in the comments a little more about you!
I have the Miracle Morning book on my TBR list. I’ll move it up in priority! Thanks for sharing more about yourself! 🙂
Anick, it is so great to meet the writer behind the newsletter! And so fun to learn that you're a fellow Canadian! I was born and raised in the prairies but now I call the west coast home. 😊
